  • How will this work?

    After placing your order, you’ll receive instructions for submitting your personal statement through our online portal. Your application advisor will carefully review your draft and provide detailed comments, suggestions, and edits to help you strengthen the clarity, organization, and overall effectiveness of your statement. Your reviewed document will be returned within the delivery timeframe you select. You can then review the feedback and decide which changes you would like to incorporate. If you have questions about any of the comments or recommendations, you are welcome to follow up with your advisor for clarification.

  • How will I know what changes my advisor made?

    We do not make changes directly to your original writing. Instead, your advisor adds suggestions, edits, and explanations as comments in the margins of your document. This allows you to see exactly what we are recommending and why. You can then review each comment and decide which changes you would like to incorporate into your final personal statement. Your statement will always remain in your voice, and you will have complete control over the final draft.

  • What does 5-day delivery mean?

    If you select five-day delivery, your edited personal statement will be returned within five calendar days of submission. Weekends are included in the turnaround time, so Saturdays and Sundays count toward the five-day delivery period.

  • What does 24 hour delivery mean?

    If you select 24-hour delivery, your edited personal statement will be returned within 24 hours of submission.

  • How do you maintain academic integrity?

    Integrity is one of MSW Helper’s core values, and our services are designed to support your writing without replacing your work. We will not write your personal statement for you or make changes directly to your original document. Instead, we provide feedback, questions, and suggestions in the margins to help you identify blind spots, clarify your ideas, and strengthen your application. You remain responsible for deciding which recommendations to incorporate and writing your final statement in your own words. This ensures that the experiences, reflections, and writing you submit remain authentically yours. Applicants are also responsible for reviewing and following the application policies of each program to which they apply.

  • Do you use AI to edit personal statements?

    No. Every personal statement submitted to MSW Helper is reviewed by a human application advisor. We do not use AI to generate your feedback, critique your statement, or make editing recommendations. Your advisor personally reviews your application prompts and draft, drawing on their knowledge of social work, MSW admissions, and personal statement writing. This allows us to provide thoughtful, individualized feedback that considers the context of your experiences, the requirements of the program, and the overall story you are trying to communicate.
